MaremmaSheepdog at egroups is a mailing list for anyone with maremmas, or even anyone interested in maremmas. It is a way to make contact with other people around the world who share this interest.
You simply send email messages to the list address, and everyone on the list receives a copy. In return, of course, you can elect to receive a copy of every email sent in to the list by other members.

The egroups site contains many other great tools for sharing information between members -
a database of members
a database of members able to help with rescue
a place to leave web site addresses
a place to leave pictures or other files
a place to meet and chat real time

This provides a great way to get a conversation going on any topic relating to maremmas, that you may wish to talk about, and a great way to ask questions, and receive many answers, often with different points of view. Our dogs are unique in their temperament, and you can really only discuss them with others who understand this temperament. The Maremma List is a great way to do this. Membership is free, and the only thing I ask is that people joining do send in an email introducing yourself on joining, then it is up to you, whether you make many contributions to discussions or not. I am the owner of the list, and subscriptions are forwarded to me for approval. As of June 2000, there are around 100 members on the list.
