My name is Siv and I live on the south coast of Finland.
In July -August this year I made a wonderful trip to Italy (a birthday present from my husband as I turned 40).
I met Maryel Bousquet (and her son Alex) who helped me import Ardito (a PMA male) a year ago and we made an exciting trip to Abruzzo.
I wanted to meet Ardito's breeder, meet other breeders, see as many PMA as possible and then finish the whole trip with the Raduno (show) on Campo Imperatore on Sunday Aug 5.
The trip was a wonderful, exciting adventure which I will never forget.
The people we met were so incredibly nice, the scenery was overwhelming, the dogs were impressive and the cooking of Sig. Anna at Castelnuovo, where we stayed, was soooo good. My trip lasted 9 days, with 5 of them spent in the Abruzzo region.
A much too short time, I could have stayed a month right away. But I have decided I will go back there some day, and take my family with me then. Before that I have to learn some Italian.
With the great help of Katrina I am now able to share the photos from this trip with you as an New Year surprise for the list.
