Definitely the best book I've ever read on dog origins and behaviour by Ray Coppinger. Ray has a unique view on his subject matter gained from many years of research with a wide range of dog breeds.

The same mountain
as in the pic on the front page, now a little more to the right. The scenery
was quite overwhelming as you can see.
Maryel told me it is quite popular to take caravans and horses up there
and spend time riding on the plateau. What a wonderful way of spending a
weekend!
